Does your luck depend on the place you live?

I am a simple guy living in the electronic city coming under NCR. I live with my friend and we both come under the category of the youth generation of India comes under and searching for a job in IT sector. We have given more interviews and from everywhere we got the rejection. Now, if I come to our room we have changed 3 rooms in the past 3 months. And one thing is following us that is our bad luck. I don't know why but it is happening with both of us. Because I can see my friend attending more than 2 interviews per day from last 2 months and he gets a job also but not in the field where he wants, I mean in the IT sector. I also have got a job but still waiting for joining. Our friends who used to live with us has got placed and we are still hunting.
So, we changed our room every month for some reasons, well that's not the point to be discussed.
But nothing got changed in our life, we are still jobless. If changing the room would have changed our fate we would have got a job. I don't know what is God's will and where our destiny is going to take us, but now I think it's not the fault of stars in fact sometimes I do.
Still, I haven't got any idea about how stars work but I do believe in them because that's the only thing I can do while studying. So If you are also in the same situation I would like to say that don't run behind them, If you have trust in God do your work and leave some things on him also.
